Boot Camp Update
So, it's week 3 of bootcamp. I'm pretty impressed by the results. Ok, the scale shows little change, but I've lost about 6 - 8 inches in total. The thing I'm impressed with the most is my cardio. I can now run for about 20 minutes without stopping....doesn't sound great to the seasoned athlete, but when I started I couldn't even do one lap around the track. My muscles are way stronger and it's actually starting to be fun. My friend Laura and I are signing up for August! We just feel like we're getting started and it seems a shame to quit now. The trick will be to keep it up in the fall. Hopefully I'm developing some life long habits. Yesterday as we were driving, Maddie say someone working out on the field doing some stretches...."Look, Mom, she said, that lady must go to boot camp too!"
