Easter

We had a great weekend. It was nice to have four days off. We got some spring cleaning done, did an Easter hunt with the kids on Saturday, went for a walk on the dikes, had a family dinner and had some time to relax. We had a Tenbrae service at the church on Friday evening. Mike played one of the disciples and I helped with the kids' program upstairs. We had no responsibilities on Sunday, so it was good to participate in worship on Easter morning. It was a joyful service and reflected the spririt of our risen Lord in every way. Of course it was wonderful to see Anjeleigh and Caleigha on Sunday afternoon. They are growing so fast and are such precious treasures. Jeanie made a great bunny cake for the girls. We also got to visit with Mike's aunt from Alberta and his aunt and uncle from Abbotsford. Now it's on to the home stretch before the summer. Before long, I'll be writing final report cards and wrapping up the year. It seems hard to believe.
