Today we had a lot of snow up at my school. All 14 of my students enjoyed playing in it. 7 of my students, however, were home sick with some virus that is circulating around our school! My hands are dry and cracked from my relentless washing and scrubbing of them! I'm determined not to catch whatever they have. Last year was my "sick" year. I caught everything going and was blowing my nose and sneezing most of the year away. This year, with the help of Cold FX and a little more sleep, I've managed to stay healthy. Phew! So far, so good....the cold and flu season is not over by any stretch, but I'm feeling like I've beat some good bugs this year.
We are supposed to get more snow tonight, which should be fun for my morning commute up to the "heights". This time I'll take the bus route because the last snow day, my van did not do so well up the big hill!
I'll pray every teacher's prayer tonight....that if it's going to snow, it might as well snow us in so that school will be cancelled. Hey, it's worth a try and besides, I could use a break from those little virus-carriers!!

Your prayers are answered!! And that is a miracle since Dist. 43 never closes. God is at work!
Yay!!! The only thing is, I am supposed to "make every effort" to get into work....I'm not making any effort until our side roads are cleared!
