Voki Fun

I'm on a technology learning team at school. It's really great. We're learning how to use our districts sharepoint site and develop our own websites. My next goal is to use the smartboards at school to teach a lesson. There is so much to learn, it is actually overwhelming. Being a teacher and a mom is already time consuming, so I may be crazy to add this learning team to my schedule. The upside is that we do get some release time to do this. The other great thing is that it stretches my brain and challenges me.

One of the fun things we did was to add a "voki" to our website. It's kind of fun for the kids. Here is mine:

Press the play button to hear my message. I need to make it bigger, but now I know how to do that. I can also change the background to match the season. I was quite proud of myself. When I'm finished my class website, I'll put up the link for the public site. My students will be able to log onto the private part of the site to see photos etc..
