I just received news that a former teaching colleague and friend has cervical cancer. She's only 40 and has 3 young kids at home. Thankfully, the cancer, according to an MRI, is contained. She will have a hysterectomy December 3rd. It's so strange to think of people in my age group facing these kinds of health issues. Keep Hannah in your prayers.
