Maybe 3 is the breaking point for me....I've agreed to look after my friend's son 2 days a week. He and Maddie are in the same class, so it's easy for drop off and pick up. But, wow, three kids are more of a handful for sure. There's the added dynamic of one usually being left out and the noise level just increases with a boy in the house. Having said that, they actually play together well and it's good for the girls to have someone else they need to cooperate and share with. It took me so long to get them out of the house yesterday. Of course, I'm not used to the mittens, hats, scarves and snowpants routine!! Today, I've budgeted time for that. Anyway, it's a bit of extra money we can use to get us to Disneyland and have fun while we're there. And it confirms my theory, that for us, two is just right!!!
