It's days like today that I don't like living in the congestion of this crazy city. Today it took me an hour and a half to get home - it's normally a ten minute drive. There was a huge traffic jam on the bypass because it was flooded. Once I was on it, I couldn't get off. When I finally could, I made a U turn and went back the other way. It was crawling everywhere. I hate being cooped up in my car and having no alternative but to wait. Especially when my kids are waiting for me at home and a family friend is kindly babysitting while my aunt is away. To top it off I didn't have my cell phone with me. Now Mike is two hours overdue, likely stuck in traffic too. I was supposed to go to a Stampin Up Workshop tonight, but it doesn't look like I'm going. I was really looking forward to it too.

That is so brutal! Especially without a cellphone. That flooding on the bypass looked so awful on the news. I'm glad you were alright though.
I really missed you last night. :) It was fun. Oh well, your pocketbook will thank you (at least that's what my credit card told me to tell your credit card!). LOL I'm sure you could still call Pam and make an order if you wanted to - let me know if you want to borrow my book. Marthe booked a workshop for May too. But, atleast you don't have to shovel, and it is washing the salt off the car. (I don't know if that makes you feel any better, actually I'm sure it doesn't)
