The girls are officially Hi 5 Groupies. We went to the concert at the PNE. Hi 5 has been one of their favourite shows for a long time so we were excited when we heard they would be appearing live. They put on a great half hour show and then had a meet and greet. It was too hot and too long a line to meet them Friday, but yesterday we went back to the PNE to take in some more festivities. When we realized one of the horse shows was cancelled we went and stood in line to meet HI 5 as the concert was almost over. We were about 10th in line. The Hi 5 stars were so nice to all the kids. They were so accomodating with photos and took time to talk to each kid - very sweet. The girls were pretty much spellbound by the whole experience. Chelsea had her hair crimped. She was pretty pleased when Sean said, "Hey, you've got your hair crimped like Jenn." I got some great photos so it will be fun to scrapbook. The whole PNE experience was fun this year. They have some new attractions that we really enjoyed including the parade and a new street they've opened up....Historic Miller Drive. Of course, we saw the Superdogs and had fun strolling through the barns. The girls saw a chick hatch for the first time. We even went in to Hastings Raceway and watched a horse race. It was a full day of activity.
