We are certainly raising a "greener" generation. I would have never thought to ask this as a child...mind you, we didn't have juice boxes either...
Yesterday from the back of the van (where all priceless comments come from...)
Maddie: (after pushing her straw into the juice box) "Mom, if I can't get this straw out of the juice box, will that affect the recycling process?"
Neither of my kids could understand my response of laughter to Maddie's serious inquiry.

A girl after my own heart. Juliana has been bringing home her juice boxes from school for years. Each juice box adds up and every little penny counts!
