Whytecliff

Making the best of the "baby pool"
We are still enjoying our summer. Even more so now as Mike has been on holidays for a week now. We ventured out to Dinotown, to the CN Imax and to Whytecliff Park, or as the girls call it, "Pirate Island". They love scrambling over the rocks to the island. Mike is playing Beach Soccer at Spanish Banks this weekend, so we'll head down tomorrow to watch and play at the beach. Then on Monday we head to Summerland for the week. I'm really looking forward to that. After we get back, reality will hit as I head back to school to get ready and start getting my mind wrapped around the new school year.
It's been a great summer so far. I didn't really make my traditional list of things to do this year. It's been mostly about spending time at home and doing fun outings...nothing wrong with that. I was feeling a little guilty the other day that I didn't deep clean my house and spend more time in the yard, but I guess those things will wait. There will be many summers when the girls are out doing their own thing...that's what I'm telling myself anyway.
