Grade 1 Piano
Our house is filled with the sounds of piano practice these days. Maddie has her grade 1 BC conservatory exam in January so she's busy preparing. The songs are pretty much embedded in my head now...some of them came easily and others she's had to work at. This has been so good for Maddie. It's actually teaching her some discipline. She tends to breeze through school without having to study or work at it too hard. I think it came as a bit of a shock to her that she actually has to practise pretty hard for this. I'll be glad when it's over so we can hear some new songs around here!

oh wow, I remember that! I took piano for 7 years when I was younger! I only made it to grade 4 though, it took me a while of practicing before I was ready to take the exams too!

I'm impressed that you made it to grade 4. That's an accomplishment! I know how much practice that takes! I never took piano as a child so this is all new to me!
