As soon as we woke up, we saw the white blanket of snow covering our neighbourhood. It was early....maybe 7:30, but we bundled up and headed out. We decided a winter walk to Starbucks would be fun. With Bella on leash and webkinz in their carriers we headed out. It was just a little snow, but it was the first snow, which is always special and magical. Tonight, the snow continues to fall. The forecast is for rain and warmer temperatures next week, so we'll enjoy the white magic while it lasts.

Was great to see you yesterday and chat a bit... we should make a starbucks date one friday when you're off...
I love it Yesterday morning I did the same thing. My class at CBC was cancelled at 7 a.m., so off I walked to Starbucks. No webkinz with me though....and no dog!!
We sure got dumped on today. It is beautiful and so peaceful. Was a wonderful day of baking, reading by the fireplace, catching up with a nap and just plain relaxing. Sometimes these "forced days of rest and shut-down" speak such peace to the "often way too busy" soul.
Would have liked to come to hear the girls this morning but the roads were a little perilous out here. I'm sure they were cute and performed with excellence!
