I am so ready for a vacation. I would just love to pack up and head off somewhere cool. I think I am feeling some envy from all my students who are jetting off to Hawaii, Mexico and other sunny places!!
I've never been anywhere "tropical"...well, I've been to Palm Springs once and Disneyland, but I don't think that really counts. Now, don't get me wrong. I've been to the UK twice (once when I was 7 and once when I was 17)with a little sidetrip to Paris once. I've been to some very cool places in the US and I've been to most of the provinces with the exception of the maritimes. So, really I am pretty blessed and if I never traveled again, I would count myself fortunate.
But, having said all that, I would really love to experience some real sun and sand. Mike and I are looking at our budget and maybe, just maybe, that little dream will happen this summer. We are not going to tell the girls if we do...just surprise them. And hey, if it doesn't work out, there's always Alberta!

YES YES YES, there's always Alberta! LOL I can guarantee a great time if you pick the right town. :) I hope you get to go somewhere sun-and-sand AND come here. Not to be selfish or anything, I'm just saying...
