Summer Weather

We had a really relaxing day yesterday. After dance practice, the kids were out and about in the neighbourhood, running through sprinklers and going down slip and slides! Mike and I really needed a "down" day, so we ended up just hanging out around the house. I started the big job of weeding out my school stuff in the crawl space. It's amazing how much of the stuff I recycled! So much of what I thought I'd need is now outdated or looks really old. I saved some gems. We decided we really need to have a garage sale. The girls have outgrown so many toys. I still have a lot of work to do down there.

In the evening we went up to Burnaby Mountain for a walk. It was a beautiful evening with amazing views.

Today I want to get at the garden. It needs a little TLC. I'm going to buy some bedding plants to round it out and fill in the gaps. We got the patio furniture out yesterday so it's starting to look like summer again.
