Pain in the Neck...

Ouch! I did something to my neck. I am probably getting too old to sleep with multiple pillows because I woke up Saturday morning with a terrible crick in my neck. Normally, when this happens, it cures itself within the day. But this one is hanging on and giving me grief!! I've not had much pain in my life (Thank the good Lord) so this is new and very aggravating to me. I can get relief with ibuprofen, but the bottle says to take no more than six per day, so I have to space them out carefully. I can't believe how much I use my neck muscle. I know now because whenever I try to use the one on the painful side....ouch!! I'm fully aware of it! I'm really hoping it gets better before we go on our holiday. I've never had such a literal "pain in the neck" before, but I may have a better understanding of where the expression originated!
