- I grew up in a small town
- I'll probably never live in a small town again
- I always wanted to live in the city
- Now I live in the suburbs, and still think about living in the city one day
- I love walking
- I don't like running, but always imagine myself doing so - it just looks good when others run
- I used to be pretty good at the 12 minute run in high school
- Once I did 7 laps
- I don't think I could ever do that again
- I've spent a lot of money on exercise tapes and equipment
- I still haven't lost my "baby" weight
- I'm still trying
- My new venture is the GI diet.
- I like buying things for my girls
- I don't think my mother would have approved
- She was not a spender and certainly didn't buy something for the label
- I must confess - sometimes I buy for the label
- Mostly I buy if I think it's cute
- I hardly ever buy if it's not on sale
- I don't enjoy shopping for myself anymore
- I'm not sure why
- My amazing husband encourages me to shop
- That's rare
- He has excellent taste in clothing and furniture
- He picked out our bedroom suite
- He's picked out lovely clothes for me too
- We should go shopping together more often
- He taught me about buying quality
- He also taught me algebra 12
- He tutored me through that course
- We've known each other that long!
- I hated algebra 12 but I had to take it
- I loved university
- I may go back one day
- I loved learning and being in that academic environment
- I don't know if I want the pressure of midterms and exams though
- I wouldn't have time to blog
- Maybe that would be a good thing
- I'm actually procrastinating right now
- The house needs a good cleaning and the laundry needs to start
- What is it with laundry?
- I have it all folded back into drawers and the next day it's time to start again
- Lots of things in life are like that
- This is the messiest phase of my life
- I just realized why
- There are 3 messer uppers and only 2 cleaner uppers
- The dog and the kids can't help with the cleaning yet
- I'm not sure the dog will ever help with the cleaning
- I started a job chart with the girls
- They have to accomplish three things in the morning
- and three things in the afternoon
- They get stars for their efforts
- If only life were that simple
- For them, right now, it is that simple
- That's the beauty of childhood
- I think my girls are having a great childhood
- I think kids in general these days have great childhoods
- My childhood was pretty idyllic
- Up until we moved to Yellowknife and my mom got sick
- Those years are kind of a blur
- I wonder what would have happened if she had got well
- Maybe I'd still be in Yellowknife
- Then I would have never met Mike
- That's sad
- We have a standard poodle
- I named her Bella
- She's the 4th dog I've had
- First there was Prince
- He was put to sleep when I was 5
- Then there was Rascal
- We had to give him to my sister when we moved to YK
- Then there was Sam
- He was a nice yorkie and lived a good long life
- This is the first female dog I've had
- Poor Mike is the only male in the house
- There's a lot of chatter in our house
- There's a lot of emotioal up and downs too
- Mike may need a break one day
- It's our 10th anniversary next year
- We should do something special
- We probably won't have much money due to our Disney trip
- It doesn't have to be expensive to be special
- We should start planning something
- I'll be glad when our anniversary rolls around
- That will mean my school year is over
- That means Debi, my lovely teaching partner will be back
- I really miss her this year
- I wonder if she'll want to decrease her time
- I think that would be OK with me
- One day I'd like to have my own class again
- I like being able to serve in our church
- It's fun to work with the kids
- They're not very critical
- I can almost do anything with those silly puppets
- I hope I'm conveying some Biblical truths
- I also hope they're having a lot of fun
- Church should be fun for kids
- Those are my thoughts today
- They are very random
- They are not very deep...but that's OK sometimes. I'll probably never do this again.
