What a Weekend

It's been quite a weekend. I'm now officially a Women of Faith repeat. It was the second year I've been. I think last year was better....maybe just because everything was new. This year was good too but it just lacked the "a-ha" factor. Last year, every speaker touched me and seemed to speak directly to my spirit. The speakers were wonderful again, but not quite as amazing. I did enjoy it though. It was a nice break from the routine of life and that Patsy Clairmont cracks me right up. It's good to really laugh sometimes.

The only thing that coloured the weekend was that our car was broken into while it was parked in the hotel underground. Not a huge deal, as nothing valuable was stolen, but it just feels weird that someone was rummaging through our car . . . I felt kind of uneasy all day.

Anyway, it's nice to be home now. I always love coming home to the familiar and the comfortable. The girls are sleeping peacefully... I just went and prayed over them. Mike is getting ready for bed. I'm going to go get some sleep too. I'm in need of a good rest.
