Our poodle is turning out to be a great dog. I had my doubts when she was a younger puppy. I was sure we had made a terrible mistake to open our home to a dog. But she's really grown on me now. Dogs are amazing. They don't hide their feelings at all. Imagine if we greeted one another with the reckless abandon that dogs do!
Bella, our poodle, is quite smart. She loves retrieving, but we just don't have the stamina she does. So once we have finished throwing her tennis ball down the hallway, she takes it to the top of the stairs and pushes it down. She then retrieves it and runs back up the stairs to start again. What a great exercise routine! I should really join her!
She has the annoying habit of letting us know she needs more water. She picks up her stainless steel bowl and lets it crash to the floor over and over until someone comes to fill it up. It's very loud and guess what, it works. Someone will come running to fill her bowl.
I'm not sure why I'm blogging about our dog with all the other things happening in our world. I guess it's because in a crazy world of uncertainty, it's nice to have a brown eyed poodle who is happy with a refill of water and a simple game of fetch.
