Afternoon Stroll

Yesterday Mike and I had fun strolling the streets of New West by Queen's Park. We used to walk that area before we had kids and even before we were married. We both love the heritage homes and the landscaping. The whole area feels as though you are being transported back in time. If we had unlimited cash, we would definitely buy one of those great houses. We saw some amazing gardens, stained glass and so many lovely front porches. We really love our house but it always inspires us to do more with our garden when we see what people have done.

Our kids were playing at a friends' house - a teaching friend of mine who has two girls very close in age to ours. We trade kids every once in a while between 3:30 and 8 so we can each have an afternoon date! Mike and I were going to go see a movie, but when the weather turned nice we thought we'd take a heritage stroll. Then we went to this cool burger place and had a really good meal.

It was a nice calm before the report card and end of the year storm that is coming very soon!!

That is so great that you got the chance to go out for a walk and enjoy the scenery! Those houses are cool out that way!
